Bass fishing vacations are a pastime enjoyed by many from all walks of life, young and old alike. Clear water (visibility greater than 3 feet)
Natural colors – watermelon, pumpkin, green shades, silver, gray, white
In soft plastics use transparent versions of these colors
When fishing bottom hugging or slow moving baits use natural environment colors.
Down size line diameter in clear water

As visibility decreases use more opaque colors but stay with the natural color scheme for the type of bait used. When using slow moving baits in stained water try red shad, gray shad or blue shad two tone colorations (dark back over light bottom).

If water is heavily stained try using slow moving bottom bumping baits in dark colors such as black, blue/black, black/red or retrieving baits in fluorescent colors such as orange, chartreuse, bubblegum.
